Senate: Democrats 51 Republicans 47(2 toss-ups)

Romney has picked up Wisconsin in the latest state polls which also show Obama holding a lead of 6% in Nevada. This may reflect the recent recall went in favour of the incumbent republican governor. Nevetheless the trend in all the recent state polls has been only in one direction. The national polls still swing about small leads fro either candidate
